Buying guide
Keeping printers running
Part number and voltage
Order printer parts by the service number in the printer's parts list. Fusers and maintenance kits also come in 110V and 220V versions that must match your power.
Wear parts on a schedule
Rollers, fusers and transfer belts wear with page count, and enterprise LaserJets display a message when the maintenance kit is due.
Shared engines
Many parts fit a whole printer family built on one engine. The LaserJet 4200, 4250, 4300 and 4350, for example, share a paper feed roller.

Frequently asked questions
Can I replace printer parts myself?
Many are designed for it: fusers, rollers, trays and toner on most LaserJets swap without tools. Formatter boards, laser scanners and transfer belts take more disassembly and suit a technician.
Laser or inkjet for an office?
Laser printers suit high volumes of text at a low cost per page and don't dry out between jobs. Inkjets handle photos and color graphics well and cost less up front.
Do you carry parts for older printers?
Yes. Parts for LaserJet 4000-series, 5000, 8000 and 9000 printers, DesignJet models from the 100 to the Z6100 and older DeskJets are listed beside current Enterprise parts.
