Power distribution boards
A PDB carries power from the supplies to the system board and drives. It's specific to the chassis, and a failing one can look like a bad power supply.

How do I identify an internal server part?
Most boards carry a part number on a sticker or printed on the board. Searching that number, or the server model plus the part's position, such as primary riser or bottom PDB, finds the exact match.
Can a blade mezzanine card go in any mezzanine slot?
It may fit several, but each slot connects to specific interconnect bays at the back of the enclosure. The card only works if a compatible switch or pass-through module sits in the bay its slot maps to.
Do drive cage kits include the backplane?
HPE backplane cage kits pair the cage with its backplane, but controller cables and drive carriers can be separate. The listing spells out what's included.
