Frequently asked questions
What's the difference between an LED and an LCD monitor?
An LED monitor is an LCD monitor lit by LEDs. Older LCDs used fluorescent CCFL backlights, which are thicker, use more power and dim with age.
Do these monitors need a special cable?
Most take VGA and DVI-D, and some add DisplayPort or HDMI. PCs with only DisplayPort or HDMI connect through a DP-to-DVI cable or adapter.
Can business monitors be wall- or arm-mounted?
Most have 100mm VESA holes once the stand is removed, though a few slim models need an adapter bracket.
