Frequently asked questions
Why would anyone still use a CRT monitor?
Some legacy equipment, industrial controllers and older software expect analog VGA timings or low resolutions that modern flat panels handle poorly.
Can a CRT connect to a modern PC?
Only through an analog VGA output or an active DisplayPort- or HDMI-to-VGA converter, since current graphics cards don't output analog video directly.
