Product Description
The Tripp Lite NPOE-30W-1G is a high-performance midspan injector designed to deliver both data and electrical power to compatible network devices over a single Ethernet cable. This device adheres to the IEEE 802.3at standard, commonly known as PoE+ (Power over Ethernet Plus), enabling it to supply up to 30 watts of power. This injector is particularly useful for deploying devices such as high-definition IP surveillance cameras, wireless access points, and VoIP phones in locations where traditional power outlets are not readily available or convenient. By consolidating power and data transmission into one cable, it significantly reduces installation complexity, cabling costs, and clutter. The Gigabit Ethernet port ensures that network throughput is not compromised, making it suitable for bandwidth-intensive applications. The midspan design allows it to be easily integrated into existing network infrastructure without requiring changes to the connected devices or the network switch, provided the switch itself does not supply PoE.
