The SPOEB1016-100 is a versatile Fast Ethernet media converter that combines network connectivity with Power over Ethernet (PoE) capabilities. This device allows for the extension of Ethernet networks over fiber optic cable while simultaneously delivering electrical power to end devices through the same copper (UTP) cable. This eliminates the need for separate power outlets at the device location, simplifying installation and reducing cabling costs, especially for devices like IP cameras, wireless access points, and VoIP phones.
