The HP J9995A module is an advanced networking component designed to enhance the capabilities of compatible Aruba access switches. It offers eight high-speed 10 Gigabit Ethernet ports, utilizing the familiar RJ-45 connector and Cat6a/Cat7 cabling for deployment. This allows for significantly faster data transfer rates compared to traditional Gigabit Ethernet, making it suitable for bandwidth-intensive applications and high-performance network backbones. A key feature of the J9995A is its support for Power over Ethernet Plus (PoE+). This capability allows the module to deliver up to 30 watts of power per port, in addition to data, to connected devices.
