The HP J9836AS, part of the HP 2920 Switch Series, is a high-performance, fully managed Layer 3 switch designed for enterprise edge and core deployments. It features 48 10/100/1000Base-T Gigabit Ethernet ports, providing substantial high-speed connectivity for a large number of devices. All 48 ports support IEEE 802.3at Power over Ethernet Plus (PoE+), enabling the switch to deliver up to 30W of power per port to connected devices like wireless access points, IP phones, and surveillance cameras, simplifying infrastructure and reducing cabling needs.
