Description
This QSFP+ (Quad Small Form-Factor Pluggable Plus) transceiver from Check Point is designed for 40 Gigabit Ethernet (40GbE) applications over single-mode fiber. It complies with the 40GBase-LR4 standard, which uses Wavelength Division Multiplexing (WDM) to transmit four separate 10Gb/s optical signals over a single fiber pair. The module operates using multiple wavelengths around the 1310nm band. The CPAC-TR-40LR-SSM160-QSFP supports data transmission distances of up to 10 kilometers on single-mode fiber. This makes it suitable for longer-reach applications such as data center interconnects, campus backbones, and metropolitan area networks where higher bandwidth is required over extended distances. Featuring LC connectors for a reliable fiber connection, this QSFP+ module offers a compact and high-density solution for 40GbE networking.
