Frequently asked questions
Will any active pen work with my touchscreen laptop?
No. Pens use different protocols, such as Wacom AES or Microsoft Pen Protocol, so the pen must be listed for your laptop or tablet.
Do active pens need batteries?
Most do, either AAAA cells or a built-in rechargeable battery. The ThinkPad Pen Pro recharges in its laptop's pen garage.
