Description
The Ubiquiti UWB-XG UniFi WiFi BaseStationXG is a high-performance wireless access point engineered to address the demands of dense user environments. Leveraging the IEEE 802.11ac Wave 2 standard, it offers superior wireless performance with an aggregate throughput of up to 1.7 Gbps, making it ideal for locations with a high concentration of Wi-Fi devices. This base station is equipped with integrated, high-gain directional antennas, which are optimized for focused coverage and improved signal strength in specific areas. This directional capability helps to mitigate interference and enhance the user experience in challenging wireless deployments. The 5 GHz band operation ensures access to a less congested spectrum, further contributing to reliable and fast wireless connectivity. Managed through the UniFi Network Controller software, the UWB-XG provides centralized management and monitoring capabilities for the entire UniFi network. It supports Power over Ethernet (PoE) 802.3at for simplified installation, requiring only a single Ethernet cable for both data and power. The single 1000Base-T Ethernet port connects the access point to the wired network infrastructure.
