The Ubiquiti LiteBeam 5AC Gen 2 (LBE-5AC-GEN2-5) is an innovative and cost-effective solution for long-range wireless connectivity. It utilizes Ubiquiti's proprietary airMAX AC technology to deliver high-performance, carrier-class throughput, making it suitable for point-to-point (PtP) and point-to-multipoint (PtMP) links. The device operates in the 5 GHz frequency band, offering a balance of speed and interference avoidance. This second-generation LiteBeam features significant improvements over its predecessor. It incorporates a dedicated Wi-Fi radio for management, allowing for seamless setup and configuration via a mobile device without needing a wired connection to the main network.
