Ubiquiti AIRGATEWAY AirMAX 150Mb/s 2.4GHz 2x 100Base-T 1x Access Point

Description

The Ubiquiti AIRGATEWAY is a compact and user-friendly wireless access point designed to provide reliable Wi-Fi connectivity in indoor environments. Operating in the popular 2.4GHz frequency band, it offers wireless speeds of up to 150Mb/s, making it suitable for a wide range of common internet activities such as web browsing, email, and standard definition media streaming. Its small form factor allows for discreet placement in homes, small offices, or hotel rooms, seamlessly integrating into the existing decor. In addition to its wireless capabilities, the AIRGATEWAY is equipped with two 100Base-T Ethernet ports. One port serves as the uplink to the main network (typically connected to a router or switch), while the second port can be used to connect a wired device, such as a desktop computer or a network printer, providing a wired network connection alongside the wireless access. This dual functionality makes it a versatile device for extending network access or creating a small, localized network. Designed with simplicity in mind, the AIRGATEWAY is easy to set up and manage, often through Ubiquiti's intuitive device management interfaces. It is an ideal solution for users who need a straightforward and affordable way to establish or expand wireless network coverage in smaller areas. Its combination of wireless access and wired Ethernet ports makes it a practical choice for SOHO environments or as a supplementary access point in larger networks.
