The Transition Networks TN-CWDM-SFP-1290 is a CWDM SFP transceiver module compliant with the SFP Multi-Source Agreement (MSA). It is specifically engineered for use in CWDM networks to increase bandwidth capacity on existing fiber infrastructure without laying new cable. The module features a 1290nm DFB transmitter and a PIN photo-detector, providing a link budget suitable for distances up to 80km. It is fully compliant with SFF-8472 digital diagnostic standards, allowing for real-time monitoring of parameters such as optical output power, optical input power, temperature, and transceiver supply voltage.
