The Transition SEPOE1011-150 is a specialized media converter that combines standard 10Base-T to 10Base-FL fiber optic conversion with Power over Ethernet (PoE) injection capabilities. This dual functionality makes it ideal for deploying network devices such as IP cameras, wireless access points, or VoIP phones in locations where traditional power outlets are unavailable or inconvenient. By injecting PoE power onto the Ethernet cable, it simplifies installation and reduces cabling costs. The converter supports 10 Mbps Ethernet connections on its RJ-45 port and converts these signals to 10 Mbps fiber optic signals using ST connectors for multimode fiber. This allows for network extension beyond the typical 100-meter limit of copper Ethernet, reaching up to 2 kilometers over multimode fiber.
