Product Description
The TP-Link TL-WA801ND is a versatile Wireless N Access Point designed to establish or expand a wireless network and provide access to the internet for Wi-Fi compliant devices. It leverages the IEEE 802.11n standard to deliver wireless speeds of up to 300Mbps, offering a significant improvement over older 802.11g technology for faster downloads, online gaming, and smoother streaming. This device is highly flexible due to its support for multiple operating modes. In Access Point mode, it creates a new wireless network. As a Range Extender, it can boost existing Wi-Fi coverage to eliminate dead zones. Client mode allows it to connect to a wired device and provide it with wireless connectivity, while Bridge mode enables it to wirelessly connect two wired networks. The TL-WA801ND features a WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup) button for quick and easy wireless security setup, as well as detachable antennas that can be replaced or upgraded for better signal reception. It also supports Passive Power over Ethernet (PoE), allowing for flexible installation by delivering power and data through a single Ethernet cable up to a certain distance.
