Operating at a speed of up to 150Mbps, it adheres to the IEEE 802.11n standard, while also being backward compatible with 802.11g and 802.11b devices. This ensures broad compatibility with a wide range of wireless clients. This range extender offers versatile functionality, capable of operating in multiple modes to suit different network needs. In Range Extender mode, it connects wirelessly to your existing router and rebroadcasts the signal to cover larger areas. It can also function as an Access Point to create a new wireless network, a Client to connect wired devices to a wireless network, or a Wireless ISP (WISP) to connect to an ISP's wireless signal. The TL-WA730RE V2 features a WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup) button for quick and easy network security setup, along with an external detachable antenna that can be adjusted or replaced to optimize signal strength and coverage. It supports robust security protocols, including WEP, WPA, and WPA2, to protect your wireless network from unauthorized access.
