This extender leverages dual-band Wi-Fi technology, delivering combined speeds of up to 1200Mbps. It provides up to 867Mbps on the 5GHz band, which is ideal for bandwidth-intensive activities like HD streaming and online gaming, and up to 300Mbps on the 2.4GHz band, suitable for general web browsing and email. The RE305 V3 features an intelligent LED signal indicator that helps users identify the best location for placement, ensuring maximum network coverage and performance. In addition to its range extension capabilities, the RE305 V3 can also function as an Access Point (AP) when connected via an Ethernet cable. This mode allows you to create a new Wi-Fi hotspot from a wired connection. Furthermore, it is compatible with TP-Link's OneMesh technology, which allows it to work seamlessly with compatible TP-Link routers to form a single, unified network, enabling devices to switch between the router and extender automatically as you move around.
