This transceiver supports both 10GBase-SR and 1000Base-SX standards, offering backward compatibility with Gigabit Ethernet networks. The AOC-E10GSFPSR is capable of reaching distances of up to 300 meters over OM3 multimode fiber at 10Gbps, and up to 550 meters over OM2 multimode fiber at 1Gbps.
