The ACCORTEC COMP SFP-10G-SR-S-ACC is a compact, hot-pluggable transceiver module designed for 10 Gigabit Ethernet applications. It is specifically engineered for short-reach communication over multi-mode fiber (MMF) optic cables, adhering to the 10GBase-SR standard. This makes it an ideal solution for connecting network devices within a data center, campus network, or between adjacent buildings. The module utilizes an 850nm VCSEL (Vertical-Cavity Surface-Emitting Laser) transmitter and a PIN photodiode receiver, enabling data transmission speeds of up to 10 Gbps. It features a standard duplex LC connector, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of network switches, routers, and servers equipped with SFP+ ports. The transceiver supports Digital Diagnostic Monitoring (DDM), allowing network administrators to monitor key operational parameters such as transceiver temperature, optical input/output power, and voltage in real-time. With a maximum transmission distance of up to 300 meters over OM3 multi-mode fiber (or up to 400 meters over OM4 fiber), the SFP-10G-SR-S-ACC provides a cost-effective and reliable solution for high-bandwidth connectivity needs.
