The Perle IDS-108FPP-DS2ST20 is an industrial-grade unmanaged Ethernet switch designed to provide robust and reliable network connectivity in challenging environments. It features eight 10/100 Mbps RJ-45 ports that are fully compliant with the PoE+ (Power over Ethernet Plus) standard (IEEE 802.3at). This allows the switch to deliver up to 30 watts of power per port, in addition to data, to connected devices such as IP cameras, wireless access points, and industrial sensors, simplifying power management and reducing installation costs. For extended network reach and resilience against electromagnetic interference, the switch includes two 100 Mbps fiber optic ports supporting the 100Base-LX standard. These ports are designed for use with single-mode fiber optic cables, enabling data transmission over distances of up to 10 kilometers (approximately 6.2 miles).
