It utilizes the latest 802.11ac WiFi technology, delivering combined speeds of up to 1200 Mbps (300 Mbps on the 2.4GHz band and 867 Mbps on the 5GHz band). This dual-band capability ensures optimal performance for a wide range of wireless devices, from smartphones and tablets to laptops and smart TVs. The EX6920-100NAS functions by connecting wirelessly to your existing WiFi network and then rebroadcasting the signal to extend its reach. It also features a Fast Ethernet (100BTX) port, which can be used to connect wired devices, such as gaming consoles or smart TVs, to your WiFi network, effectively turning them into wireless devices. This versatility makes it an excellent solution for improving connectivity in areas where the main router's signal is weak. Setup is designed to be user-friendly, with options for a simple WPS push-button connection or guided setup via a web browser or the Netgear Nighthawk app on a smartphone. The compact, wall-plug design allows for convenient placement without occupying floor space.
