Product Description
This SFP+ (Small Form-Factor Pluggable Plus) transceiver module is engineered for high-density, high-speed networking over long-haul fiber optic links. It leverages Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing (DWDM) technology, which allows multiple data streams to be transmitted simultaneously over a single fiber strand by using different wavelengths of light. This significantly increases the capacity of existing fiber infrastructure. The module supports a data rate of 10Gb/s and is designed for transmission distances of up to 80 kilometers over single-mode fiber (SMF). This makes it ideal for core network backbones, metro area networks (MANs), and long-distance data center interconnects where high bandwidth and extended reach are critical requirements. The SFP+ form factor is a smaller, higher-performance version of the SFP, offering greater port density. The Duplex LC connector provides a secure and reliable physical connection for the fiber optic cable. DWDM transceivers often come with specific wavelength assignments, or may be tunable, allowing network operators to select precise wavelengths to avoid interference and maximize channel utilization. This transceiver is built to meet stringent industry standards for performance and reliability in demanding network environments.
