Product Description
The Juniper QFX-QSFP-40G-SR4 is a high-density 40 Gigabit Ethernet QSFP+ (Quad Small Form-factor Pluggable Plus) transceiver module. It is designed for short-reach, high-bandwidth applications within data centers and high-performance computing environments. This transceiver operates at a wavelength of 850nm and utilizes four parallel transmit and four parallel receive channels, each operating at 10 Gb/s, to achieve an aggregate data rate of 40 Gb/s. It is designed for use with multi-mode fiber optic cables and supports link lengths of up to 100 meters on OM3 or OM4 multi-mode fiber. The module features an MPO (Multi-fiber Push On) connector, which is standard for parallel optics. The QFX-QSFP-40G-SR4 complies with the 40GBASE-SR4 standard and is built for hot-swappable installation in compatible Juniper QFX Series switches and other QSFP+ MSA-compliant networking equipment. Its high port density and bandwidth make it ideal for switch-to-switch interconnects, server aggregation, and high-performance network fabrics.
