Description

The HP R4W41-61001, identified as an Aruba AP-565, is a high-performance outdoor wireless access point engineered to deliver robust Wi-Fi connectivity in challenging environmental conditions. Operating on the 5GHz frequency band, this access point utilizes the 802.11ac Wave 2 standard to achieve a maximum theoretical data rate of 1.73 Gbit/s. This capability ensures high-speed wireless access for users and devices, supporting bandwidth-intensive applications such as video streaming, online collaboration, and data-intensive mobile applications. The AP-565 is equipped with a single 1000BT (Gigabit Ethernet) port for its wired backhaul connection, providing a high-speed link to the network infrastructure. It supports Power over Ethernet Plus (PoE+ 802.3at), which simplifies deployment by allowing the access point to receive both power and data through a single Ethernet cable. This feature is particularly beneficial in outdoor installations where power outlet availability might be limited. Built for durability, the Aruba AP-565 features a ruggedized enclosure designed to withstand harsh outdoor elements, including extreme temperatures, humidity, dust, and moisture. This makes it an ideal choice for deployment in outdoor venues like stadiums, public spaces, industrial sites, and transportation hubs. As part of the Aruba ecosystem, it integrates with Aruba's network management solutions for centralized control and monitoring, ensuring reliable and secure wireless coverage in outdoor environments.
