The HP JW212AR, also known as the Aruba Instant IAP-205, is a high-performance wireless access point designed for modern enterprise networks. It operates on the 5 GHz frequency band, supporting the 802.11ac standard to deliver aggregate wireless speeds of up to 867 Mbit/s. This makes it ideal for environments with a high density of mobile devices and demanding applications such as video conferencing, VoIP, and cloud-based services. A key feature of the IAP-205 is its 'Instant' capability, allowing it to be deployed in a controllerless network architecture. Up to 16 Instant APs can self-organize into a cluster, with one AP acting as the master and managing the configuration for the others.
