As an Instant AP, it can be deployed in a controller-less mode, where a cluster of APs automatically configure themselves and synchronize their settings, simplifying network deployment and management. This makes it suitable for branch offices or smaller deployments where a dedicated wireless controller is not feasible. This access point operates on both the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequency bands, supporting dual-band Wi-Fi. It delivers aggregate data rates of up to 867 Mbps on the 5 GHz band and up to 300 Mbps on the 2.4 GHz band, leveraging technologies like MU-MIMO (Multi-User, Multiple-Input, Multiple-Output) for improved efficiency and capacity in environments with many connected devices.
