The HP 1910-16G (JE005AS#ABA) is a fixed-configuration Layer 3 managed switch designed to provide advanced networking capabilities for small to medium-sized businesses. It offers a total of 16 Gigabit Ethernet ports, ideal for connecting workstations, servers, and other network devices at high speeds. Complementing these are four SFP (Small Form-factor Pluggable) ports, which can be used for high-speed uplinks to core network devices or for connecting to fiber optic networks, enhancing network flexibility and reach. As a Layer 3 switch, the 1910-16G supports static routing and the Routing Information Protocol (RIP), enabling it to perform inter-VLAN routing and manage traffic more intelligently within the network.
