Description

The HP JC173-61101 is a high-performance router module designed for the HP 6600 series router platform. This module is equipped with a combination of 2 x OC-3 and 1 x OC-12 Packet over SONET/SDH (POS) interfaces, providing robust wide-area network (WAN) connectivity. Packet over SONET/SDH is a technology that allows IP packets to be transmitted directly over SONET (Synchronous Optical Network) or SDH (Synchronous Digital Hierarchy) infrastructure, which are standard protocols for high-speed optical transmission in telecommunications networks.
