The HP J9086-69001, known as the 2610-24/12 PWR, is a 26-port Layer 3 switch designed for converged enterprise networks. It features 24 auto-sensing 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet ports that support IEEE 802.3af Power over Ethernet (PoE). This allows the switch to power connected devices such as IP phones, wireless access points, and security cameras directly over the Ethernet cable, simplifying installation and reducing cabling costs. The switch also includes two SFP (Small Form-Factor Pluggable) slots, providing flexible Gigabit Ethernet uplink options for connecting to core switches or other network segments, enhancing network scalability.
