The Finisar FTLX1411D3-B3 10Gb/s transceivers are high-performance modules for 10G Ethernet and 10G Fibre Channel applications. They utilize a 1310nm DFB transmitter and a PIN receiver to achieve 10km reach over standard single-mode fiber. Digital diagnostics functions are available via a 2-wire serial interface as specified in SFF-8472, allowing real-time access to operating parameters such as transceiver temperature, laser bias current, transmitted optical power, received optical power, and transceiver supply voltage. The industrial temperature rating makes it suitable for deployment in harsh environments.
