The EMC XEM-000232 is a high-performance QSFP (Quad Small Form-factor Pluggable) transceiver module designed for demanding data center and enterprise networking applications. This module is intended for use with multi-mode fiber (MMF) and utilizes an MTP (or MPO) connector, which is designed to accommodate multiple fiber strands in a single connector housing. This MTP connector is typically used for parallel optics, enabling higher aggregate bandwidth over shorter distances.
