This module enables full-duplex communication over a single strand of single-mode fiber by transmitting data at 1270nm and receiving data at 1330nm. A corresponding BiDi transceiver with reversed wavelengths (1330nm TX / 1270nm RX) is required at the other end of the fiber link for successful communication. This transceiver is optimized for single-mode fiber and extends reach up to 40km, making it suitable for longer-distance deployments such as metro networks, service provider backhaul, and enterprise campus backbones where fiber availability might be a constraint. The LC simplex connector is standard for single-fiber BiDi transceivers. As a hot-pluggable SFP+ module, it allows for easy integration and maintenance without network downtime.
