The HP BV428AV is a high-performance internal optical drive designed to handle the latest in optical media technology, including Blu-ray discs. As a Blu-ray writer, it allows users to read and write to single-layer and dual-layer BD-R (recordable) and BD-RE (rewritable) discs, offering storage capacities of up to 25GB (single-layer) and 50GB (dual-layer) per disc.
