The ATEN VE8952R 4K HDMI over IP Receiver is an advanced solution for extending high-definition video and audio signals across a network infrastructure. It is designed to work in conjunction with a compatible ATEN HDMI over IP Transmitter (sold separately) to create a flexible point-to-point or point-to-many video distribution system. This receiver unit takes the IP-streamed HDMI signal and outputs it to a connected display, supporting resolutions up to 4K at 60Hz, ensuring crisp and detailed visuals. A key feature of the VE8952R is its support for Power over Ethernet (PoE). This allows the device to be powered directly through the Ethernet cable, eliminating the need for a separate power adapter and simplifying installation, especially in ceiling-mounted or remote locations.
