A key feature of the IMC-350-SE-A is its integrated Link Fault Pass-Through (LFPT) functionality. This diagnostic feature allows network faults detected on one port (either copper or fiber) to be immediately signaled to the other port. The converter supports both 10 Mbps and 100 Mbps Ethernet speeds on its RJ-45 copper port and connects to a 100Base-FX multimode fiber optic network via an SC connector, typically extending the network up to 2 kilometers.
