The Adtran 12007400 NetVanta 6355 is a robust, managed Layer 2 Ethernet switch engineered to provide high-density connectivity and advanced features for enterprise edge and branch office environments. It boasts 24 Fast Ethernet (10/100Base-TX) RJ-45 ports, all equipped with Power over Ethernet (PoE) capabilities. This PoE support simplifies network deployment by allowing devices such as IP phones, wireless access points, and security cameras to be powered directly through the Ethernet cable, eliminating the need for separate power adapters. In addition to the 24 copper ports, the NetVanta 6355 includes two flexible Combo SFP (Small Form-Factor Pluggable) uplink ports. These ports can be configured to operate as either Gigabit Ethernet SFP or 10/100/1000Base-T copper ports, providing high-speed connectivity to core networks or other network devices.
