It is designed for short-reach (SR) deployments, making it ideal for connecting network devices within data centers, server rooms, or across local area networks (LANs). Operating at a wavelength of 850nm, this transceiver utilizes Vertical Cavity Surface Emitting Lasers (VCSELs) and is intended for use with multi-mode fiber (MMF) optic cables. The typical maximum transmission distance is up to 300 meters over OM3 multi-mode fiber, and shorter distances over OM1 or OM2 fiber types. Featuring a standard LC duplex connector, the SFP-10GB-SR-ACC ensures a secure and reliable connection to the fiber optic infrastructure. It supports Digital Diagnostic Monitoring (DDM) or Digital Optical Monitoring (DOM), which provides real-time insights into the transceiver's operational status, including transmit and receive power levels, temperature, and voltage, aiding in network management and performance monitoring.
