The Dell 8X16X10X24X is an internal optical drive that combines the functionality of a CD-Rewriter (CD-RW) and a DVD-ROM reader. This means it can read data from both CDs and DVDs, and it can also write (burn) data onto CD-R discs at speeds up to 16x and rewrite data onto CD-RW discs at speeds up to 10x.
