Product Description
The IBM 3580-H11 (TS2900) provides automated tape storage for rack servers. It includes one LTO-4 HH SAS tape drive and a 9-slot magazine. It supports LTO-4 media with a native capacity of 800GB per cartridge. The unit features a bar code reader, a 3Gbps SAS interface, and is backward compatible with LTO-3 (Read/Write) and LTO-2 (Read-only) media. It is managed via a web-based GUI or the operator control panel and is designed for attachment to select IBM Power Systems, IBM System x, and other servers running supported operating systems.
