The APC SURTD3000XLT is a high-performance Smart-UPS RT (Rack/Tower) model, featuring an online double-conversion topology. This advanced UPS architecture provides the highest level of power protection by continuously regenerating clean, stable power, completely isolating connected equipment from all incoming power disturbances. With a capacity of 3000VA (2700W) and operating at 208V, it is designed for mission-critical applications where even momentary power interruptions or fluctuations can be detrimental, such as in data centers, sensitive IT infrastructure, and advanced communication systems. Key to its superior protection is the pure sine wave output, which ensures compatibility with all types of AC-powered equipment, including sensitive electronics, servers with Active PFC power supplies, and medical devices. The online double-conversion design means that the UPS output is always derived from the inverter, providing a perfectly regulated voltage and frequency with zero transfer time to battery backup during utility power failures. The SURTD3000XLT also offers robust battery management features and the capability for extended battery runtime through the addition of external battery modules (sold separately).
