The APC BR700G Back-UPS Pro is engineered to safeguard your essential electronics from the unpredictable nature of power. Its robust design includes Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR) which corrects for undervoltages and overvoltages without switching to battery power, thereby conserving battery life and ensuring a more stable power output. This feature is crucial for maintaining the operational integrity of sensitive computer systems and peripherals during minor power fluctuations. The unit offers a total of five NEMA 5-15R outlets, with three providing both battery backup and surge protection, and two offering surge protection only. This configuration allows for flexible power management, ensuring that critical devices remain powered during an outage while less essential ones are protected from surges. The user-replaceable battery cartridge simplifies maintenance and ensures that the UPS can be quickly restored to full capacity after a power event. For enhanced monitoring and control, the BR700G is equipped with audible alarms and front-panel LEDs that provide clear visual and auditory cues regarding the UPS status, including load level, battery charge, and any fault conditions.
